Theme Day: Traditions
Here at b5media we do a little thing called “theme day” within business channel. This month I have been asked to host our “theme day” with the focus on traditions. Here is a selection of blogs from within the channel with posts about tradition, please take the time to check them out:
-One of the best personal finance traditions is giving your money away. Miranda at Yielding Wealth explains how she has more prosperity when she donates money to charity, worthy causes and her church.
- Shannon Cherry over at Startup Spark shares why breaking traditions may be the key to business success. And that when you don’t follow the norms, someone will always be unhappy - usually your competitors.
- Mary Emma at Home Biz Notes encourages home business owners to participate in annual traditions throughout their local community and to establish some of their own.
-Taxgirl thinks about another tradition this time of year… charitable solicitations. It seems that everywhere you turn, someone is asking for money for something. Before you make a decision about which charitable organization deserves your cash or services, consider this: Its the most ring a ding time of the year
-Chris, at Doing Biz Abroad, considers the value of tradition and culture when traveling to other places.
