The Value of Social Networks: An Introduction
Since this is my official first day of posting here on B5media.com, I figured I would re-post my first post ever on this blog, if this is your first time here, make sure you look around and read some of the past posts.
Online social networking has exploded in growth over the last year to heights that nobody expected.

Myspace.com has become one of the most trafficked websites on the world wide web. Bands, models, comedians, and other artists have used social networking to springboard their careers. Dozens of other niche social marketing websites have sprung up from ones dedicated to sports fans to others designed around race, gender, and sexual orientation. There is a social networks for everyone out there. The questions you need to ask yourself as a businessman are:
- Do you have a presence at all on any of these networking websites?
- What are the different websites and which ones should you be using?
- How do you effectively use these websites to promote yourself, your business, or your product?
My goal is to help guide you through these choices, giving you the knowledge and the tools to maximize these websites for your use. Also I will be keeping you abreast of the latest news on these websites, so you can stay ahead of the competition in noticing some of the hottest trends out there.
