Review: Hi5.com
Site: Hi5.com

Members: According to the Hi5’s information page they have over 50 million registered users, with 18 million unique visitors per month.
Their age demographics breakdown:
13-17- 23%
18-24- 20%
25-34- 15%
35-44- 18%
Features:
Hi5 has standard social networking features: messaging, groups, schools, classifieds, and forums. The pages are customizable, not as much as some other sites, but customizable nonetheless and there search functions are pretty powerful.
There is a friend’s update feature that is comparable to the one on Facebook, notifying you of recent news and happenings with people on your friend’s list.
Also there are some other small features such as being able to Hi-5 people and give them points on their profile. From a usability standpoint there isn’t anything that is vastly different from other social networking sites.
Review:
Hi-5 has a large Latino user base and is globally used. The groups and powerful search function allow you to target people that you should add to your profile.
The setup is easy to use, I would compare it favorably to Bebo.com, and would place it on the top of the second tier of social networking sites. If you have an international product or would like to cater towards Spanish or Portuguese speaking clients I would move this site up on your priority list.
While I haven’t run any campaigns for clients on this site I am going to start experimenting more with it and see what kind of gains I can get from it.

I thought it was terrible the way that when you are signing up, the service automatically sends an invite to everyone that it sees in your address book. Awful. I have no real interest in this site and now everyone thinks I’m promoting it.
