I guess you can chase ambulances on the internet
In other posts I have talked about businesses that have successfully used social networking sites to build their brand. We have looked at a neighborhood bike shop, amongst other businesses.
Law.com had an interesting article the other day about lawyers using MySpace.com to gain to new clients. Entertainment lawyer Leslie Warren Cross created a MySpace page that helped out new musicians about the legal setup of music contracts. He has gained a few clients through the site, all while answering a slew of questions on a daily basis.
Other lawyers, such as personal injury and even family law, have benefited from having a presence on the social networking site. The firms cited that this was just an extension of word of mouth, which traditionally has been the way they have gained clients.
I don’t know really how to close this post, so (insert lawyer joke here.)
