Google are you going to answer my dreams with Social Stream
I have read a few different posts on the web the last few days about Google working with Carnegie Mellon in designing a social networking website that unifies the information from multiple websites. To say that I am more than ecstatic about this idea would be an understatement, I believe that this is the next big step in social networking and really the next necessary step.
Here on the Socialstream project website you can read about the goals of the project and how they will reach a way to share without barriers. They break down the different types of users and the different features the site would have, as well as having a nifty little quicktime movie to go with it.
I don’t think I have ever been so excited about a page that is just concepts and demos before in my life.
